Meet your hosts Linda and Nigel (and Louka)
We bought Chalet Damo in 2003 to move to France full time after three years of short term winter season ski holidays in Morzine.
We are avid skiers and during a ski trip in January 1998 we immediately fell in love with Morzine, a traditional French alpine village and part of the famous Portes du Soleil Ski area with its huge ski area spanning France and Switzerland.
We felt it was time to "work a winter season" and after our holiday we took the first steps to change our lives forever. We rented two apartments in the centre of the village to start our ski company easiski in 1999, offering short breaks with breakfast. At the time we wanted to offer an alternative to the traditional Saturday to Saturday chalet holiday.
Enthusiasm and skiing kept us going that first season, but when our guests asked us to book for the next winter we knew we had a winning formula. The rest is history or should we say our future! We have embraced life in France and call it home! We love this little corner of French alpes and take full advantage of it, especially skiing in the winter and hiking in the mountains with Louka, our giant Leonberger dog, in the summer.
We love to share our local knowledge with our guests from all over the world. The door is always open ... We hope to welcome you very soon at Chalet Damo.
