ABOUT CHALET DAMO​

​You will love the tranquil setting of Chalet D'Amo which guarantees a good night's sleep, yet is only a short 2km drive to Morzine.

There is space to unwind and relax inside and out:  You have access to the large communal dining room and cosy lounge.  You can sit next with the warming log fire in the winter and  UK free sat TV is available to all our guests.

Chalet D'Amo is a large traditional Alpine chalet standing in 2000 m2 of secluded garden and surrounded by woods and meadows. The chalet has accommodation over three floors.  On the ground floor there is a large open plan dining room and cosy lounge with wood burner and the 4 guest bedrooms are on the upper two floors.

Chalet D'Amo was built in 1982 and we wanted to echo its rustic wooden façade in our modern interior remodel when we bought it in 2003. You'll notice the rustic wooden ceilings in the large open plan dining/breakfast room and the cosy lounge, perfect for relaxing in front of the warming wood burner after a day on the slopes.

The wooden chalet theme continues in our four guest rooms, located on the first and second floors. Each room has a modern en-suite shower room and plenty of space. The chalet's outdoor space is also extensive and both of our superior rooms, the Balcony and the Loft, have private balconies.

​Outside there is space to relax in our large mountain garden behind the chalet and wildflower meadow. Soon to be added is the private kitchen garden with BBQ and fire pit.

​“Why is it called Chalet Damo” we are often asked….We found out a few years later when the previous owner dropped by - ​simply the initials of French owners DAvid and MOnique!
